I have been in Mozambique 14 years now, and founded the Matola Hash in 2003. The Matola Hash runs monthly on Sundays or more for special occasions. We do away hashes, bush runs and anything that takes more time to do than Maputo Hash allows itself. Maputo has been running since 1987, (born in the middle of a civil war). It runs every Saturday, and is well attended. It always starts at the clubhouse, which is in the centre of town and returns there to circle. Hangover from its war routine of being home before dark, but with modern traffic its becoming questionable
